Help with Medicare in Los Angeles County
If you live in Los Angeles County, you have three good places to start: HICAP, run here by the Center for Health Care Rights; Medicare.gov and 1-800-MEDICARE; or a call with me at a time you pick.
Three places to start
-
HICAP, through the Center for Health Care Rights
HICAP is California's counseling program. Los Angeles County names this center as its provider. It does not sell or endorse anything.
213-383-4519 -
Medicare.gov and 1-800-MEDICARE
They can tell you about every plan in your area.

A call with me
I'm based in Orange County and I work with people across Los Angeles County. You pick a time and I call you. If you'd rather meet by video, just ask. Your name never goes on a lead list and is never sold.

Questions people in Los Angeles County ask
Which parts of Los Angeles County do you work with?
All of it, from Long Beach and Torrance to Santa Monica, Pasadena, Glendale and Lancaster. I call you by phone, or meet you by video if you ask, so the drive doesn't come into it.
My parent lives in Los Angeles County and I live somewhere else. Can I join?
Yes. Your parent needs to be the one asking me to call. Once the time is set, you can join from wherever you are.
Is the plan list the same as in Orange County?
Not always. Plans are offered county by county, which is why the notice at the bottom of this page has its own numbers for Los Angeles County.
How do I know this isn't one more call list?
Your details are used only by me and are never sold. I call at the time you picked. Here's how the call lists work, so you can spot one.
